Chartering Specialist
- Purpose of the role: ∙ Coordinate Group internal tonnage transaction ∙ Post fixtures follow up and owners account handling ∙ Manage operation efficiency and digitalization for T/C fleet ∙ Tonnage market intelligence and world fleet management ∙ Support FP&C Leadership
- Accountabilities: ∙ Handling all issues on owners account relate to Group internal tonnage transaction ∙ Working coordination with Group Ship owning entities and other group affiliates ∙ Coordinate and set up group wise way of working and settlement relate to Charter fleet ∙ Coordinate/support BO for operation matter follow up ∙ Coordinate with Business coordination team for tonnage planning and forecast ∙ Participate all the projects of vessel performance improvement for T/C vessels ∙ Involve various TC related project and analysis
- Knowledge and skills: ∙ Good communication and excellent negotiation skills ∙ Ability to work with a cross functional team/stakeholders ∙ Understanding of charter party and the risk/advantage of each clause from owner/charterer perspective ∙ Excellent analytical skills in terms of chartering activities ∙ Good understanding of shipping and PCTC market, group service network and way of working ∙ Deep knowledge/experience in trade teams / tonnage allocation / chartering related work, preferably at least 2-3 years’ experience ∙ Open/positive thinking and strategic mind set ∙ Problem solving ability under pressing situation ∙ Understanding cultural differences and diversity ∙ Balanced mind-set between profit and strategic decision ∙ Fully understand and act as per company value and Group strategy ∙ Willingness and capability of being a “Team Player” ∙ Clear and effective communication skill in written and verbal (Korean, English) 전형절차
