2. 업무내용

 

 1) Main responsibilities

 

 Global monitoring and follow up of undesired event reporting, sharing incident experience and good practices across the fleet to drive reduction in incidents and collaboration amongst fleet vessels and ship managers to achieve safe fleet operation and a reduction of preventable incidents.

 Monitor HSE statistics across the fleet, share results and collaborate to encourage safe work practices and workplace across the global fleet.

 Collaborate throughout the organization and with external stakeholders for delays or vessel related issues, find & encourage smart solutions to minimize delays where possible.

 A member of the emergency response team for vessels.

 Champion a fleet equality approach to operations ensuring all vessels and vessel management have same requirements/treatment regardless of designation.

 

 2) Job Description

 

 Safety & Security

1)     Manage vessel undesired event management, recording & follow up, determine preventative actions and issue experience feedback.

2)     Liaise closely with Ship Managers and other key internal global stakeholders during Undesired events, delays or vessel related issues,  ensuring insurance claims teams are updated.

3)     Co-ordination of offhire/delays etc with group business units.

4)     Record Operational & HSE related KPIs & PSC results for all vessels, send feedback to fleets.

5)     Record & monitor planned maintenance periods & co-ordinate with other business units.

6)     Assist key stakeholders with crew related issues and finding solutions to minimize impact.

7)     Monitor fleet weather routing and collaboration between departments when changes to routes etc are needed, support Masters and  Vessel Management on making decisions.

8)     Act as liaison between vessel management and bunker teams on fuel operational issues.

9)     Keeping the WalWil Group advised of problems which arise on Group fleet and to develop relationships with the Ship Managers and through regular contact to ensure Group’s satisfaction is being achieved.

10) Ensuring the ships entrusted to the business unit are operated to the highest standard with absolute regard to the safety of life at sea and protection of the environment 

 

Regulation Compliance & WalWil Gourp Instruction/Policy/Guideline

1)    Maintain a working understanding of all current and future international regulations respective to vessel operation and ensure awareness and practical implementation across fleet.

2)    Maintain  departmental and vessel compliance with company policies, instructions, guidelines and experienced feedback, ensuring robust implementation of any actions are maintained 

 

Ship Management Control

 

1)  Support on vessel budget control, providing information on cost drivers to fleet management team Senior Manager for Vessel Opex & Finance.

2)  Ensure robust and proportionate actions resulting from undesired events are implemented in an aligned way across fleet vessels. 

 

Group Project Management

1)   Champion One Operation projects across fleet, coordinating with ship manager or service providers where necessary.

 

3. 자격사항

 

 A qualified marine officer, engineer or naval architect with other appropriate managerial experience, to have held either a senior manager position on board or a manager position within the shipping industry. Experience in HSEQ or vessel management would be an advantage.

 Good understanding of ship management, safety and performance drivers for vehicle carriers, international rules & regulations, sustainability & environmental goals and management.

 Good Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to develop creative and effective solutions to problems.

 Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work across muliple departments, cultures and stakeholder groups, English language written & oral to a high level.

 Collaborative team player with motivation and drive, ability to work alone & as part of a team, be accountable for own decisions and ability to accept change and look for opportunities to adapt our ways of working to enhance the company profitability, sustainability and customer experience.
